We are searching for a confident qualified Responsible Person (RP) with strong industry experience and a natural ability to lead. If you love designing engaging programs supporting educators and bringing positive energy to your work and the children you will thrive here.

23 hours of dedicated admin time each week to plan and deliver our 12week Vacation Care program

A balanced work year:

  • 24 hours per week for 32 weeks
  • 38 hours per week for 20 weeks during Vacation Care periods

What You Will Be Doing

As our Vacation Care Coordinator you will be the creative force behind our Vacation Care program. You will lead a team of enthusiastic educators design experiences that children love and ensure the service runs smoothly safely and with plenty of joy.

This is a role where your ideas matter and where you will have the time and support to bring them to life.

What You Bring

Strong industry experience in Education or Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

Qualifications to act as a Responsible Person (RP)

Proven ability to lead motivate and support a team

A passion for creating engaging highquality programs for children

A positive collaborative attitude and a willingness to bring a little fun to the workplace

YMCA Geelong Board and Management are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People framework. All applicants must undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement including but not limited to:

  • a national criminal history check;
  • an international criminal history checks where applicants have worked overseas;
  • holding or obtaining a valid Working with Children Card;
  • Three reference checks.

The successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and practices which include; safeguarding children and young people induction annual SCYP training programs & committing to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout terms of employment.
