Job Summary
- Execution of investment-related activities associated with rebalancing and new investments.
- Manage and process cash activities including wires private capital calls and distributions.
- Coordinate the execution of new investor documents including subscription documents for alternative investments with clients custodians investment managers and fund administrators.
- Lead communication efforts with custodians investment managers vendors etc. for internal teams resolving issues that arise on behalf of clients and providing updates internally.
- Fulfil audit requirements for clients.
- Perform account maintenance valuation and reconciliation activities.
- Setting up client accounts in CRM portfolio management and reporting systems.
- Listen and learn while still taking full ownership of individual scope of work.
- Take pride in having and continuing to develop expert financial data domain knowledge.
- Enjoy ensuring clients have excellent customer service.
- Care about data quality and consistency.
- Create & follow processes while thinking through efficiency.
- Engage collaboratively with clients investment teams and peers.
- Prioritize effectively and decisively across complex teams and competing priorities.
- Enjoy working in and learning about the financial investment industry.
- Bachelors degree required preferably with a business focus. For certain positions we accept a high school diploma GED or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
- 0-3 years of work experience in the investment management industry with specific client service and operations experience.
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance and meet deadlines.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint with strong attention to detail excellent written and verbal communication skills and high work ethic.
- Exemplary knowledge of client study account management and portfolio management systems.
