About the Role

Were currently looking for a Junior Low Voltage Technician to assist with installation troubleshooting and maintenance of various electronic security systems including CCTV access controls and related low voltage systems across commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Installation: Pulling labeling and terminating cables (coax fiber Cat5/6) for security AV fire and data systems.

Assistance: Supporting senior technicians with hardware setup component assembly and running wires in walls/ceilings.

Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing issues in existing low voltage systems.

Tools: Hand tools (screwdrivers pliers cutters) drills crimpers voltmeters tape measures ladders.

Technical: Reading blueprints/schematics basic computer skills understanding wiring principles.

Soft Skills: Detail-oriented strong communication teamwork physical fitness for varied environments safety-conscious

Requirements:

Qualifications

Experience/understanding with construction environment and low voltage systems

Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic

Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required for daily travel in North Jersey/Bronx and surrounding areas
