Whats the role
In this role youll help shape how Westpac manages enterprise wide and emerging risks. This role will support a centralised team focussing on geopolitical risks and other evolving areas.
Youll work closely with teams across the organisation to simplify processes uplift risk practices and keep an eye on the big-picture risks that could impact the bank. You will think strategically about future risk trends and support practical insights.
This is a full-time position based in Sydney with standard business hours and the flexibility you need to do your best work. If you enjoy connecting the dots working collaboratively and influencing meaningful change youll feel right at home here.
What do I need
Youll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience working in risk transformation strategy or a related field ideally within geopolitical risk.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for getting into the detail when it matters.
- The ability to work collaboratively and operate with minimal direction.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to look ahead understand impacts and spot interdependencies.
- Clear confident written and verbal communication skills.
