This is your chance to apply deep electrical engineering expertise to products that power industries communities and critical infrastructure. Youll work with advanced design tools collaborate with talented experts and contribute to solutions that genuinely matter.
In this role youll take the lead on complex electrical design assignments drive innovation and influence the performance reliability and safety of large power transformer systems. Youll engage directly with crossfunctional partners and customers explore new technologies and develop designs that move Hitachi Energyand the worldforward.

How youll make an impact
- Design analyze and evaluate power transformer systems components and models.
- Develop advanced simulations and apply analytical tools to solve engineering challenges.
- Lead investigations develop solutions and present recommendations and reports.
- Support economic studies specifications and technical proposals.
- Collaborate with customers to address complex technical topics and define action plans.
- Represent the engineering team in internal and external meetings.
- Drive innovation to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your background
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in electrical design within the power transformer manufacturing industry.
- Strong theoretical and practical grounding in electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D CAD such as Creo is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborative proactive and able to work independently when needed.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
