Prestige Homes a division of The Shaw Group Limited has been designing and building mini modular and multi-family homes to the highest quality and customer standards for over 50 years.
We are currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Service Technician to support service and warranty work across our customer base. This role requires broad construction knowledge strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while traveling to service locations for several days or up to a week at a time.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers and retail partners coordinating closely with our Customer Care team and representing the company in a professional and safety-focused manner.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Perform service repair and warranty work in multiple areas of construction including rough and finished carpentry basic electrical and plumbing
- Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and to company quality standards
- Document service work completed and communicate findings as required
- Work directly with homeowners and retail partners in a professional and courteous manner
- Coordinate service visits with the Customer Care department
- Clearly communicate work scope timelines and outcomes
- Assist Customer Care team in prioritizing work orders travel materials and work schedules to support efficient service delivery
- Maintain organized service records and reports
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel frequently often for several days or up to a week at a time as required
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace and job-site safety
- Follow all company policies safety procedures and regulatory requirements
What youll need
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in multiple areas of construction including rough and finished carpentry basic electrical and plumbing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong organizational planning and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with residential building codes and standards
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel regularly
- Ability to work safely in a position which requires regular lifting bending and working in various indoor and outdoor environments
- Previous experience in service warranty or field technician role considered an asset
- Experience working directly with homeowners or retail customers considered an asset

Prestige Homes has been manufacturing beautiful and functional modular homes since 1973 from our manufacturing facility located in Sussex New Brunswick. This is where our skilled employees precision-engineer modules (sections) of homes to be delivered to the home site where they are then fitted together and roofing siding drywall and flooring are installed.
