Description

Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design coordination implementation and supervision of electrical systems across construction and engineering projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical works are carried out in compliance with project specifications statutory regulations safety standards and company quality requirements.

The Electrical Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams consultants contractors and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. The position requires strong technical expertise problem-solving skills and the ability to manage site activities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee manage and coordinate all MEP activities across ongoing and upcoming projects.

Plan execute and supervise electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings specifications and project schedules.

Review electrical designs shop drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project and statutory requirements.

Coordinate electrical works with mechanical plumbing civil and architectural teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.

Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards safety regulations and company procedures are strictly followed.

Conduct inspections testing and commissioning of electrical systems ensuring proper documentation and handover.

Liaise with consultants clients and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare and maintain technical reports progress updates and as-built documentation.

Support procurement by identifying material requirements evaluating technical compliance and coordinating with suppliers.

Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes standards and local authority regulations.

Candidate Profile

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.

Minimum of 37 years relevant experience in electrical works within construction MEP or engineering projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution lighting ELV systems testing and commissioning.

Hands-on experience in supervising electrical installations at site level.

Familiarity with local authority regulations electrical codes and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings specifications and technical documents.

Sound understanding of integrated MEP coordination and project execution.

Strong problem-solving planning and analytical skills.
