We are a growing property management company looking for a bilingual (English - Spanish) Property Management Assistant who can handle tenant communication rent collections maintenance coordination and the bookkeeping side of the business. This role is the front line of the company and plays a major part in keeping properties running smoothly and financially organized.
This role is for someone who is comfortable on the phone highly organized and understands both property management operations and basic bookkeeping.
Tenant & Owner Communication
Handle tenant calls messages and follow-ups in English and Spanish
Collect rent and follow up on late payments
Send notices and payment reminders
Communicate professionally with tenants and property owners
Leasing & Renewals
Track lease expirations
Coordinate lease renewals and documentation
Follow up until renewals are completed
Maintenance Coordination
Receive maintenance requests
Create and track work orders
Schedule and follow up with vendors
Update tenants on repair status
Bookkeeping & Financial Tracking
Enter rent payments invoices and expenses
Reconcile transactions and keep records organized
Assist with monthly reporting
Work in QuickBooks or property management software
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Experience in property management or real estate operations
Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping
Strong phone and customer service skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable handling money-related conversations
Reliable consistent and professional
Experience with property management software
Experience handling rent collections and vendor payments
