We are pleased to invite applications from experiencedIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS) professionals capable of leading Defence records management activities for a key client facing opportunity.

This role will be based out of Edinburgh South Australia and primarily focused on leadership of disposals records management activities in support of the P3 Orion aircraft.

In this key role you will undertake sentencing and archiving duties in accordance with the Defence Records Management Policy and in doing so:

  • Lead a small team of military reservists in the achievement of sentencing/archiving outcomes
  • Provide status updates fortnightly on progress and forecasting to the Business Management Unit Information Manager
  • Match digitised files with meta data within the electronic document and records management system (Objective)
  • Conduct sentencing /archiving of Objective files for the AP-3C platform in according with the National Archive Act
  • Provide status updates fortnightly on progress and forecasting to the Business Unit Management Information Manager
  • Provide integrated work package monthly reports as required

As an ideal applicant you will present with:

  • A relevant formal qualification or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in integrated logistics support logistic engineering or a related field within the Defence environment or an adjacent industry
  • Experience in the use of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems ideally Objective
  • An ability to lead and motivate others
  • Superior communication organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed report writing abilities

Due to the nature of this role applicants must hold an active Australian Defence security clearance.
