Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :
Aligning demand plans with supply chain capabilities to devise high-impact response strategies.
Managing inventory levels (RM/PM/WIP/FG) and SAP systems to minimize waste and maximize throughput.
Engaging with Sourcing CS&L and vendors to ensure a seamless flow of materials and timely promo-pack deliveries.
Leading SOX guidelines and EOHS norms to ensure a safe high-quality manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
Take full accountability for RM/PM/WIP inventory management leveraging SAP to optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) and implementing pull systems to minimize write-offs and SLOB.
Lead the daily preparation and execution of the site production plan ensuring seamless synchronization between material availability and manufacturing schedules to achieve 100% plan service.
Act as the critical bridge between the Baddi Plant and Head Office teams (Sourcing CS&L and Marketing) ensuring that promotional launches and new SKUs transition smoothly from concept to shelf.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives and cycle-time reductions directly contributing to the financial health of the business .
Uphold the highest standards of SOX compliance and EOHS norms while utilizing analytics to anticipate potential disruptions and develop robust contingency plans.
Required Qualifications :
Hold a Graduation degree / MBA or PGDM in Operations from a good institute.
Possess hands-on experience working with SAP specifically within material management or production planning modules.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets/Slides/Docs with the ability to leverage data for analytics and decision-making.
Have a proven track record in Supply Chain management with a deep understanding of inventory control pull systems and synchronized demand/supply planning.
Have relevant experience in a manufacturing or plant-based environment (Baddi or similar) managing complex material flows.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or FMCG industry is highly preferred particularly in a fast-paced plant environment where high-volume SKU management is there.
Data-driven decision-maker who can translate complex datasets into actionable contingency plans ensuring the plant remains agile during supply disruptions.
Comfortable leading change and implementing new strategies such as Colgates FP&R (Factory Performance & Reliability) practices to drive continuous improvement.
Possess the communication and negotiation skills necessary to align diverse stakeholdersfrom plant floor operators to Head Office sourcing leadsaround a unified supply strategy.
Keen business and financial acumen allowing you to identify Funding the Growth opportunities that optimize working capital and reduce wastage.
