Job Summary
Title: Manager Purchase - Technical & Planning
Key Responsibilities
Develop monthly quarterly and annual procurement plans based on operational demand and consumption patterns.
Handle procurement of heavy equipment spares and consumables for slag disposal and site operations.
Review and finalize technical specifications for machinery equipment and services.
Draft and issue RFQs including technical specifications BOQs scope of work and SLAs.
Prepare technical and commercial comparative statements for vendor evaluation.
Ensure timely availability of equipment and materials across all operational sites.
Drive vendor development cost optimization and technical evaluation.
Coordinate closely with operations maintenance finance and project teams.
Ensure compliance with project timelines safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Key Skills Required:
Strong technical knowledge of industrial and slag handling equipment.
Experience in technical & commercial evaluation.
Procurement planning and vendor management expertise.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Expertise Required
Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment such as:
Excavators Loaders Dozers Tippers Dumpers
Slag pot handling equipment & grab buckets
Conveyors Crushers Screens
DG sets Motors Pumps
Fabrication items & Electrical components
