Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and functional requirements.
• Technical Development:
  • Develop and maintain web portals technologies & Oracle backend ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Leverage cloud technologies to deploy and manage portal solutions ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Integrate various systems and services to enhance portal functionality and user experience.
• Project Management:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle including planning execution monitoring and closure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions including Unit Testing Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all solutions meet company standards and client requirements.
• Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed portal solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Implement enhancements and updates based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

The candidate will have to perform various roles ranging from: -

1. Understanding the functionalities of the current applications

   1. Provide production support and operational support

   2. Managing deployment of patches for portal as in co-ordination with Application Vendor.

   3. Troubleshoot & resolve reported issues by the WTW users or client users with support from outsourced vendor teams.

   4. Create application roles users and granting access

   5. Ensure all applications follow the WTW Security Standards & Protocols

   6. Ensure that WTW IT Security compliance is 100% adhered to. Timely Pen Tests and SAST/Dast scans are conducted and their resolutions are done within the specified TATs of the WTW InfoSec Team.

   7. Conducting the UAT with the Business Teams and getting the issues resolved from the Application vendor.

• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient technologies with solid skils C# .NET Developer MVC SQL Server App Developer Angular JS React HTML 5
  • Strong knowledge of SQL including database design query writing and performance optimization.
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle DB and PL-SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS for deploying managing and migrating applications.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel Visio)
  • Hands-on experience in portal development including UI/UX design principles and responsive design.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent requirement gathering and documentation skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of business processes and systems.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Educational and Professional Background:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field on an MCA
  • Overall experience of 10 to 12 years: -

    • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in software development

    • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in leading and managing complex Software projects

    • At least 2-3 years of experience in production support

  • Relevant certifications SQL and Cloud Technologies are a plus.
