As a Rehabilitation Consultant here youll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up and youll be equipped with tailored training tools and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
In this dynamic and rewarding role youll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to structure your day while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals recovering from workplace injury or illness. Youll guide clients through their rehabilitation journey supporting their return to health work and everyday life. This includes delivering tailored occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and helping them achieve sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
- Partnering with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with injured workers employers medical and allied health professionals across various schemes such as workers compensation compulsory third party life insurance Comcare Department of Veterans Affairs and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Conduct Vocational Assessments with the aim of identifying suitable job options for individuals complete comprehensive labour market research on identified job options using clinical skills to match recommended options with a clients physical and psychological capabilities.

Qualifications :
Youll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA registration or Full Accreditation with ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
- Excellent Time management and organizational skills
- Empathy paired with genuine compassion and kindness makes all the difference in this role.
- Patience and resilience - essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
- A current QLD Drivers License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
