Whats the role
This role is part of the Finance Services team. Working with a group of professionals this role is accountable for being a trusted adviser to the Customer & Corporate Services division providing financial advice planning forecasting and solutions to assist the business achieve its strategy and business priorities. The Customer & Corporate Services Division brings together the functions within the organisation that support Customer Divisions and contains customer facing and corporate/enterprise services. These include the Group Customer Operations Customer Solutions Property Procurement & Protective Services business unit Corporate Affairs Sustainability HR & Finance Services.
You will support the Head of Finance to provide business partnering financial support advice and solutions to the Group Operations business unit.
What do I need
- 8 years experience in financial management and the financial services industry
- Professional accounting qualification completed - ACA CPA CIMA or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively influence negotiate and manage expectations at a senior management level
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining productive relationships
- Strong commercial acumen
- Solid working knowledge of Westpac core policies and guidelines
- Experience supporting large and diverse cost base
