Job Summary
GOAL: Literacy/Math Teacher is responsible for helping to plan coordinate and implement student supports to address the needs of students in the area of literacy and/or mathematics. Tuesday and Thursday after teacher will perform a wide variety of specialized instruction in support of the districts Beyond the Bell program. Job Responsibilities: Plan organize and evaluate research-based interventions for individual students. Plan sequence and scaffold instruction. Work successfully with administrators teachers students and parents. Use assessment data to improve instruction and problem solve. Provide individualized interventions for students who have not achieved their reading level or math small group and individual instruction according to individual student needs. Perform a wide variety of responsible and specialized tasks. Interpret and apply rules and regulations as appropriate. Other duties as assigned by Principal or pay is curriculum rate plus planning per hour.
