Technical Compliance Manager

Our client is a rapidly scaling international technology company with a distributed workforce across multiple regions. Having grown significantly over recent years they continue to invest heavily in both product development and governance to support their global operations.

They operate within a highly regulated digital environment and are focused on delivering reliable secure and high performing software products to users worldwide. As part of this continued growth the compliance function has expanded considerably to support new markets products and regulatory requirements.

Our client is now looking to appoint a Technical Compliance Manager to join their growing compliance team.

Location: Hybrid - Saint Julians

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Compliance Manager your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure ongoing compliance with technical regulatory requirements across all applicable jurisdictions

• Interpret technical regulations and provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders

• Oversee and support change management processes for technical and product related changes

• Coordinate and support technical audits certifications and regulatory assessments

• Maintain oversight of monitoring controls including excluded persons registers and server related controls

• Provide compliance guidance to product development and security teams

• Support compliance colleagues with technical interpretations relevant to their markets

• Conduct internal reviews and contribute to periodic compliance audits

• Review update and maintain technical policies and procedures

• Act as a point of contact for regulators on technical compliance matters when required

• Collaborate closely with compliance technology and security teams

• Provide additional compliance support as needed in a fast evolving environment

Requirements:

• Highly motivated and self driven with the ability to work independently

• Structured and organised with a proactive and solution focused mindset

• Comfortable operating in a fast paced and regulated environment

• Strong understanding of technical compliance within software driven or regulated industries

• Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle

• Experience engaging with regulatory bodies and managing compliance discussions

• Confidence leading internal stakeholder meetings

• Technical education or hands on technical experience is required

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt as regulatory requirements evolve
