Role Summary
The Electromechanical / Process Technician is a field-based hands-on role.
The position focuses on on-site work direct intervention on equipment commissioning activities and preparation for Phase 2 industrial deployment.
This role is not office-based. Daily presence on the installation and practical technical work are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Operations and Commissioning
- Work directly on SYKLEA industrial installations involving gas and liquid treatment systems
- Support commissioning start-up testing and operational adjustments
- Diagnose and resolve electromechanical and process-related issues on site
- Intervene on three-phase electrical systems motors panels protections and cabling
- Participate in modifications and continuous improvement of existing installations
Process and Equipment
- Operate and maintain scrubbers pumps piping dosing systems and biofiltration units
- Read understand and use P&IDs electrical schematics and technical layouts
- Calibrate and verify field instrumentation including flow pressure pH temperature and gas sensors
- Support PLC parameter adjustments and basic automation interactions (no software development required)
Safety and Site Organization
- Apply and reinforce industrial safety practices in environments combining electricity and water
- Identify unsafe conditions and implement practical corrective actions
- Support implementation of lockout/tagout procedures emergency stops and visual safety measures
- Contribute to organization and cleanliness of technical areas cable routing and equipment layout
Phase 2 Preparation and Deployment
- Support the transition from pilot installations to industrial-scale systems
- Participate in standardization of equipment and installation practices
- Provide field feedback to improve design operability and reliability of future deployments
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong electromechanical background in industrial environments
- Proven experience working with three-phase electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment such as pumps motors valves and piping
- Understanding of industrial process systems preferably gas or liquid treatment
- Ability to read P&IDs and electrical diagrams
- Experience with instrumentation calibration and on-site troubleshooting
Profile
- Technical education (BTS DUT vocational training or equivalent)
- Strong field-oriented mindset and comfort working with tools
- Autonomous practical and solution-driven
- Comfortable working in evolving industrial installations
- Willingness to work on site on a daily basis
Nice to Have
- Experience in wastewater treatment exhaust gas treatment or similar industrial processes
- Experience in commissioning or industrial start-up environments
- Basic exposure to PLC systems (Siemens Schneider Allen-Bradley or equivalent)
- Previous experience supporting R&D-to-industrial transitions
