Position Title : Test Technician
Specific Position Requirements : ******This position falls under Light Industrial and will require a drug test as part of the screens.********Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future for this personal vehicle between JDES locations will be required under 15% of the time. JDES facilities are within 5 miles of each other.2nd shift position- 2pm-10pm approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection PURPOSE:Provide intermediate line support to the production floor. Perform intermediate level troubleshooting by utilizing technical knowledge and interdepartmental contacts. Work with test engineers to build modify and debug test systems and related to flex hours for cross of role is done standing and moving throughout the EDUCATION:A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma equivalent military certification or equivalent EEXPERIENCE:Minimum 1 year of related experience in electronics manufacturing or engineering is required; 3 or more years of related experience is SKILLS AND ABILITIES:- Understanding of electronics multi-meter oscilloscopes electrical schematics and circuit boards.- Hands-on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause.- This position is more geared towards electronics maintenance vs machinery/motors.- Computer (working software/program knowledge) and communications skills are necessary.- Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.- Ability to maintain lab equipment and perform basic mechanical work.
