Job Title: Test Technician
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)
Location: Fargo ND 58102
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Monday Friday)
Role Overview
Monitor functioning lab tests
Perform simple corrective actions
Contact appropriate personnel when issues arise
Clean and organize lab area as time allows
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support lab test operations
Perform basic corrective actions during testing
Maintain and clean lab equipment
Perform basic mechanical work as needed
Work independently with minimal supervision
Communicate test issues to appropriate staff
Technical Skills
Understanding of electronics
Use of multi-meters and oscilloscopes
Ability to read electrical schematics
Knowledge of circuit boards
Hands-on troubleshooting to find root causes
System & Computer Skills
Basic software and program knowledge
Effective communication skills
Ability to document and report issues
Work Focus
Primarily electronics maintenance
Less focus on machinery and motors
Lab equipment monitoring and upkeep
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of related experience in electronics manufacturing or engineering
3 years of related experience preferred
Education
Associate degree in Electronics or
Two-year technical diploma or
Equivalent military certification or
Equivalent hands-on experience
