MBA with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in physical metal markets.
Role Overview
The role focuses on driving product development and growth within the ferrous metals segment covering both Steel Long and Flat products. The incumbent will work closely with market participants industry bodies and internal teams to launch new products improve existing contracts and increase market participation and trading volumes on the Exchange.
Key Responsibilities
Identify design and launch new products in the ferrous metals segment including Steel Longs and Flats.
Conduct primary research with industry participants value-chain stakeholders and trade associations to assess product feasibility and market demand.
Actively gather and analyze market feedback on existing products and recommend modifications to improve acceptance and liquidity.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with producers consumers traders corporates and trade associations.
Drive higher participation and trading volumes in existing metal contracts listed on the Exchange.
Educate members associations and corporates on product features contracts and trading strategies through seminars and webinars.
Develop a strong understanding of warehousing operations logistics and applicable tax frameworks.
Prepare update and manage promotional materials including website content presentations brochures and other collaterals.
Track developments across national and international exchanges relevant to the assigned product group.
Maintain systematic documentation related to product groups market feedback and member interactions.
Manage regulatory documentation and reporting requirements as mandated from time to time.
Work closely with IT teams to improve systems and simplify tracking of routine business activities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments to enhance existing contracts and support new product launches.
