Principal Strategy Manager

Salary ranges from $149739 - $173174 super

We are seeking an inspiring and culturally grounded Principal Strategy Manager to lead a team with vision integrity and influence. This role requires a leader who can build trusted relationships with Aboriginal peoples communities and entities across NSW and motivate an internal team to lead strategic projects that deliver measurable outcomes for Aboriginal peoples. You will set clear direction and empower project teams to design deliver monitor and evaluate initiatives that strengthen departmental priorities and advance outcomes with our partners.

About You

You are a proven leader who thrives in complex environments and brings a collaborative relationshipfocused approach. You will demonstrate:

Leadership excellence the ability to guide motivate and develop teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
Stakeholder influence strong skills in building trust negotiating and maintaining respectful partnerships with diverse stakeholders including Aboriginal communities and government leaders.
Strategic capability experience in shaping and delivering departmentwide strategies and contributing to Ministerial and Cabinet submissions.
Cultural authority deep knowledge respect and understanding of Aboriginal cultural issues with extensive experience in developing implementing and reviewing Aboriginal cultural strategies policies and procedures
Communication strength exceptional ability to engage listen and convey complex ideas with clarity and impact.

Essential requirements of the role

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
