Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong interest in hospitality and the Food & Beverage sector to join our Banqueting team as Banqueting Intern.
Role Mission:
Support the dining room team during events and banquets ensuring impeccable service in line with the hotel/restaurant standards. The Banqueting Intern assists the supervisor in the preparation management and cleaning of service areas contributing to guest satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare the mise en place for banquets and events (tables cutlery linens decorations).
Welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner following the supervisors instructions.
Serve food and beverages according to procedures and service standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service execution (courses beverages timing).
Maintain cleanliness and order in the work areas during and after service.
Promptly report any needs or issues to the supervisor.
Comply with hygiene sanitation and workplace safety regulations.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of service techniques.
Strong ability to work in a team and under pressure.
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
Schedule flexibility (evening events weekends holidays).
Soft Skills:
Courtesy and professionalism.
Effective communication skills.
Quick problem-solving during service.
