Job Description
The Associate Registrar for Systems and Data Management assists with the management of all internal and externalaudits;and ensures compliance with published university state and federal policies in the scheduling and reporting areas. The Associate Registrar reporting to the University Registrar supervises the assistantregistrarsand staff in the scheduling and data management areasutilizingbest practices in the industry to achieve departmental goals andobjectiveswhile providing outstanding customer service.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise the scheduling and data management areas to ensuretimelyandaccuratereporting
Coordinate the Office of the Registrar operational calendar
Serve as one of the leads to the Assistant Registrars and staff
Oversee daily activities of the Registrars Office including staff development and trainingmonitoringprogress of major projects tomaintain/improve department performance
Work closely with The University Registrar to enhance efficiency by assessing and evaluating policies/procedures in alignment with the Universitys strategic plans
Establishmaintainand enhance relationships with school/department and other enrollment service representatives tofacilitatecollaboration
Liaison to academic officials concerning University policy/procedures and compliance using state federal and best practice guidelines
Oversee and direct the implementation of policy procedure and curriculum changes made by the Curriculum Committees including system updates
Serve as one of the key designees for student records configuration
Assistin resolving system and customer service issuespertaining tostudent records and registration
Assistwith the documentation of records functions for studentsfacultyand staff
Administer Registrar activities related to Title IV
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degreeMasterspreferred
8-10 years experience working in a Registrars Office
Experience with a student information system
Previoussupervisory experience
Prior experience with the implementation of ERP student information systems is a plus
Working knowledge of record retention policies; data privacy policies and procedures (FERPA);generally acceptedAACRAO guidelines federalstateand regulatory requirements; academic policies andprocedure
Skills and Abilities
Strong computer software skills including experience with a student information system; ability to work independently on multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy; ability to work as an effective member of a team; ability to manage direct and supervise staff; strong leadership interpersonal organizational written and oral communication skills; extreme attention to detail.

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act the hourly base range for this position is . This range represents the Universitys good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the positions scope and responsibilities the candidates experience education skills internal equity market data and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget qualifications and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation such as incentives stipends or other applicable pay components.
