Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing utility construction projects from planning through completion. This role manages project financials reporting scheduling coordination and internal communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.

The position is primarily office-based in Fort Worth with periodic field visits to support project execution monitor progress and address issues as needed. This role is well-suited for experienced project managers with strong financial oversight skills who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced utility environment.

Core Responsibilities

Manage assigned utility construction projects to meet safety quality schedule and budget objectives
Oversee project financials including budgets forecasts cost tracking and month-end reporting
Coordinate with internal departments field crews subcontractors and clients to ensure effective project execution
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership
Review project schedules costs and resource allocation to maintain performance targets
Conduct periodic field visits to monitor job progress and support issue resolution
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety standards
Maintain accurate project documentation reporting and records throughout the project lifecycle

Required Background

5 years of prior Project Management experience within utilities construction or infrastructure environments
Strong experience managing project financials budgets forecasting and reporting
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams field leadership subcontractors and clients
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Alternative backgrounds considered: Budget Manager or similar financial-focused project roles
