The Development Operations Manager will focus on supporting the fundraising capacity and effectiveness of the Global Priorities Development team through tracking donor/prospect interests activity and projected/realized giving. They will support the execution of key conservation goals and organizational pipeline building projects for global priority donor prospects managed in all markets (indirect fundraising portfolio management) and assist by coordinating activity between field staff and the Global Development team. The Manager will coordinate with research assist with gift processing lead on prospect tracking collaborate for conservation lead events/travel and coordinate with stewardship.
The Development Operations Manager will work towards meeting the strategic priorities of the Global Priorities Development Team by developing and implementing tactics for approved plans and completing and/or overseeing day-to-day tasks. They will interpret guidelines and analyze information to achieve results improve workflow and solve problems. They will monitor and help implement the fundraising plan and will help create standardized reports to reflect movement and progress for Global Priorities prospects while conveying Conservation Leadership engagement needs in the donor cultivation process. They will play a key role in coordinating information and activity amongst colleagues on the Global Development Fundraising Operations Team and throughout the Global Development Division and the Business Units managing Global Priority prospects. The Manager works closely with the other members of the Global Development Fundraising Operations Team the Global Development Team Fundraisers the Prospect Development team events team and state division and regional staff to accomplish goals. Working with the Associate Director of Development Operations for Global Priorities along with other Development Operations Managers and stakeholders the Manager ensures tracking and data entry around cultivation solicitation and follow-up activities for Global Priority prospects helping to ensure coordination. The Manager serves as a central data management resource for a widely dispersed team that secures private support from the organizations Global Priority prospects and may also serve as a gift coding and finance liaison for the Global Development Team.
The Development Operations Manager must have advanced knowledge of the systems and resources utilized by the team in order to provide programmatic support and coordinate communications related to the resources. They will have substantial contact with stakeholders and may serve as the lead liaison with partners. They take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team such duties may include but are not limited to a more significant role in training developing documentation and/or enhancing the systems and tools used by the team. The Manager will keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices in order to improve services. They will adapt processes and implement recommended practices in order to improve effectiveness based on their in-depth understanding of related policies and procedures.

Bachelors degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data.

This position may be based in North or South American countries where TNC has an established entity taking into consideration legal restrictions such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $67700 $100600 for annual base salary and is based on location qualifications specific skills and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants pay ranges will be in local currency the pay range will be based on the local labor market and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally for all applicants actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including for example the candidates qualifications specific skills and experience.
