Our client a newly opened childrens residential home is looking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the service from its early stages of operation.
Before You Apply
- This role is not suitable for candidates without previous experience managing a childrens residential home.
- You must have led or been closely involved in Ofsted inspections.
- A Level 5 qualification in Childrens Residential Management is required.

What Youll Need
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Childrens Residential Care
- Experience as a Registered Manager within a childrens residential home
- Experience leading Ofsted inspections
- Strong knowledge of childrens residential regulations and safeguarding
- Ability to take full accountability for standards staff and compliance
What Youll Do
- Help commission the service
- Register with Ofsted and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance
- Lead the day-to-day management of the childrens home
- Recruit supervise and develop the staff team
- Ensure care plans safeguarding practices and risk management are consistently followed
- Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections and monitoring visits
- Maintain accurate records and oversight of quality staffing and outcomes
