Description:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager to manage and oversee all aspects related to project management financial performance tracking and forecasting scheduling and change order management. Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships. Ensure project goals are met. Execute best practices and adhere to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project documents for technical accuracy (Submittals RFIs Drawing Revisions Close-out Documents etc.).
- Responsible for producing and maintaining a project schedule.
- Works with clients and customers to assess their needs provide information or assistance resolve their problems or satisfy their expectations
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of the principles methods or tools for developing scheduling coordinating and managing projects.
- Knowledgeable with construction documents including the ability to read drawings and specifications. Basic understanding of the electrical construction process.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
- Requires an Associates Degree in a technical field Business Management or equivalent work experience
- Four (4) years of construction trade experience.
- One (1) year operational experience in project management.
- Requires demonstrated Intermediate Microsoft skills with emphasis on Word and Excel.
- Requires proficiency with scheduling software (MS Project CONEST etc.)
