Description

US Heart and Vascular has an excellent full time employment opportunity with benefits for an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer at our Plano West clinic located in Plano TX. A minimum of three years of working experience as a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
  • Performs Stress Echo studies.
  • Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
  • Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
  • Obtains insurance pre certification for testing as necessary.
  • Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.
  • Duties responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • May be required to move between locations as needed.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • At least 3 years of practical experience.
  • Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  • Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.
  • Current CPR certification.
