SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for all set up and operation of machines in designated department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure proper cover sheets tie sheets and load tags for production runs.
Set-up bundle hold down arm load former and delivery end of machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
Stack finished product in accordance with factory master.
Ensure each unit has proper top and bottom cover sheets tie sheets and load tags.
Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
Monitor quality and report quality problems to Operator.
Ensure correct bundle and unit counts.
Report final count of piece unit to operator.
Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines.
Special projects as business dictate.
Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment can be at times loud.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
Occasionally exposed to high precarious places fumes or airborne particles; vibrations

Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age
Knowledge of design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation
Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to follow detailed instructions including reading a tape measure and blueprints.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Team-oriented and self-directed.
