Position : Production Supervisor
Department : Production
Location : Rabale Navi Mumbai
Reporting To : Head Operations
Key Responsibilities
- To understand & oversee the production process drawing up a production schedule for in-house fabrication & also onsite deadlines.
- To make sure that products/stands are completed on time and quality has been maintained.
- To work out and coordinate manpower required & to have full authority to manage man-force during production & on-site operation
- To manage records of overtime food & travel for the man-force with valid reasoning and also to settle dues & money exchanges on time.
- To co-ordinate with all kinds of outsourced vendor in consultation with the project manager and also to understand the requirements booked for the same.
- To co-ordinate with the venue authorities/ organizer on site for stand position layout measurements on other requirements if any required by company or the client.
- To be responsible for the selection and maintenance of required equipments
- To make sure that the manpower is always well-dressed in company uniform industrial shoes tool pouch (for head/permanent technicians) ID cards and photo/address ID proofs regardless of any specific site.
- To supervise and motivate a team of workers review workers performance identify their training needs.
- Should have the ability to source & locate last moment requirements locally when on site
- To continuously be in touch with the project manager and the operations team to update on the production delays last moment changes/decision making and over the limit problems. Preferable to track the start and end time of the on-site and offsite production
- To make sure that the technicians are well equipped with resources like water tea beverages and first aid kit.
- To be the sole coordinator between the technicians/ labour and the organizer & only with the client if project manager is not available on site.
- Should also be helpful and able to obey rules & regulations set by the client and the organizer (reference to the exhibitors manual).
- A production manager is involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
- To organise the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- To analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
- To prepare and maintain production reports
- Should update and inform the store keeper in case of any on-site theft misplacement. Also on-site production supervisor is solely responsible to maintain and make sure materials and tools equal to the outward entry.
