Job Summary
As a Service Advisor at Route 128 Honda you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. You will work closely with our service technicians to ensure customers receive timely and accurate information about their vehicles helping to create a positive service experience and build lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally listening to their vehicle concerns and needs.
- Provide clear detailed estimates for repairs and services explaining work performed and pricing transparently.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle service and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions services rendered and payments received.
- Promote dealership services maintenance programs and parts sales to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and professional service operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or customer service training is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive technology and service procedures preferred.
- Experience in automotive service advising or related customer service role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
