EDUCATION Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable Degree in accounting or finance Preferred: Advanced degreeCERTIFICATIONS Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) Certified Accounts Payable Associate (CAPA) Certified Accounts Receivable Professional (CARP) or equivalentWORK EXPERIENCE Experience in finance operations preferably with global or regional accounts payable and receivable scopeFUNCTIONAL SKILLS Proficient in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and automation tools such as SAP S/4HANA Coupa Ariba and robotic process automation (RPA) Familiar with environmental social and governance (ESG)-linked supplier and receivable financing programs Knowledge of indirect tax reporting and reconciliations Experience with embedded finance platforms and application programming interface (API)-based receivables workflows Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal audit coordinationFOUNDATIONAL SKILLS Communicates effectively Exercises sound judgment and prioritizes effectively Collaborates effectively with colleagues Understands and applies industry trends and best practices Leverages available technology to drive efficiency and results Engages inclusively and with intent Always acts with integrityRESPONSIBILITIES Manage regional invoice processing in line with e-tax mandates Analyze days sales outstanding (DSO) and optimize collection cycles Collaborate with procurement to onboard ESG-aligned suppliers Support trade finance and receivable discounting platforms Coordinate with treasury and tax to ensure payment deductibility Maintain compliance with know your customer (KYC) Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and European Union (EU) sanctions in billing Prepare relevant documentation for internal and external auditsMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
