Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to design implement manage and support enterprise IT systems in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability security and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design deploy and maintain Windows and/or Linux-based systems and infrastructure
Monitor system performance availability and security; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Manage cloud and on-premise environments including backups and disaster recovery
Implement system updates patches and automation where applicable
Document system configurations procedures and best practices
Collaborate with IT security and application teams to support business needs
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of operating systems networking and system administration
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Eligibility Requirements:
Must have a valid working permit in the United States
Must currently reside in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell Bash Python etc.)
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
