Job Summary

PLM System Engineer
w2 only
hybrid - North of Lewisville TX

Job Summary:

- Primary focus on implementing and maintaining PTC Windchill (expert level required)
- Secondary support for other PLM and ALM tools including PTC RV&S and 3DExperience
- Maintain engineering work environments with software such as CATIA SolidWorks Cadence and ANSYS
- Install and configure business-critical applications on Windows environments (server and desktop)
- Specify and define infrastructure requirements for server-based applications
- Participate in testing/validation of new products components or system improvements
- Collaborate with IT and Application teams for documentation implementation standards and support processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application installation operation and performance issues
- Manage changes and upgrades (major/minor) in application environments following change management procedures
- Monitor critical application components for health and execution schedules
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving middleware infrastructure services and application components
- Conduct desktop support and related technical support duties as required
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for installations and changes
- Ensure regular predictable attendance
- Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field preferred
- 3 5 years experience with business-critical application installation/configuration/support in Windows environments
- Expert knowledge of PTC Windchill
- Advanced knowledge of at least one other PLM/ALM system
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration IIS and web/application server management
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure services (AD DNS DHCP NTP LDAP Digital Certificates)
- Basic knowledge of CMMC and NIST 800-171 standards
- Basic experience with MS SQL () virtualization (VMware) Citrix or similar technologies
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices scripting/automation (Powershell) ALM and agile methodologies
- Experience with database systems administration IT standards and best practices
- Ability to work in a multinational/multicultural environment

Contract Details:

- 6 12 month contract (W2 only)
- Hybrid role (North of Lewisville TX)
- Must be technical and have backend knowledge
