About the Opportunity:

A great opportunity to join a world leader in the Dairy Industry as a Maintenance Coordinator at our Clarence Gardens Site.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for the hands-on day-to-day management of the Sites maintenance department including the allocation of tasks and rostering to respond to mechanical breakdowns preventative maintenance activities and any other equipment repairs/installations.

Responsibilities include:

Supervision and coordination of all Lactalis maintenance personnel and contractors reporting to this role including rostering timesheet management performance oversight and coordination.
Ensure the timely completion of both planned and unplanned maintenance works to support reliable factory operations and minimize plant downtime
Provide technical support and oversight for daily maintenance activities to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of issues
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Safety Quality and Efficiency including participation in site-level and Capex projects
Foster effective communication within the maintenance team and across other departments to support collaborative operations
Mentor direct reports to support ongoing development of technical skills and professional growth

About You:

Trade Qualified (Electrical &/or Mechanical) with hands-on experience within FMCG operations
Experience in Dairy Industry or Beverage Bottling highly regarded
Ability to identify mechanical and electrical issues and work to proactively resolve them
Demonstrated leadership ability
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with multi-disciplinary departments
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise
