Reporting to the Deputy Manager Domestic Admissions and Scholarships the Admissions Coordinator (Health) plays a critical leadership role in shaping and delivering high quality admissions outcomes across health programs including the Universitys key flagship programs in Medicine and Dentistry.
The role provides high-level expertise and coordination to support the Domestic Admissions team driving the design implementation and continuous improvement of admission schemes selection criteria and specialist assessment processes to meet institutional priorities and external accreditation requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and sustaining strong collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective timely and high-quality admissions outcomes.
- Ensuring health program admissions are managed with integrity in full compliance with University policy legislative requirements and professional accreditation standards.
- Leading the coordination and assessment of applications while driving the development review and continuous improvement of admission processes within areas of responsibility underpinned by a strong quality assurance and risk management focus.
- Leveraging systems data and insights to inform evidence-based recommendations strengthen decision making streamline workflows and embed best practice across admissions activities.
- Providing expert training guidance and supervision to University staff and TAC assessors building capability consistency and confidence in the assessment of Griffith admission applications.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience within the higher education sector and/or a strong understanding of tertiary admissions selection and enrolment processes ideally within complex or regulated program environments.
- A genuine passion for service excellence with demonstrated experience fostering a student and stakeholder focused culture through effective supervision coaching and the development of positive productive working relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgement with the ability to exercise initiative discretion and independent decision making when managing complex high-risk or sensitive matters.
- Highly developed organisational communication and analytical skills enabling you to contribute meaningfully to strategy development policy interpretation process improvement and the delivery of practical sustainable business solutions.
- Strong capability in the use of student management systems and relational databases coupled with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement optimisation of workflows and effective use of data to inform decision making.

This is a continuing full-time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $101068 - $109496 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $118249 - $128110 per
annum.
