Pay Range: $60000.00 - $75000.00 / commensurate withexperience.
Requirements or Specifications of thePosition
Education: AA or bachelorsdegree preferred with computer and MS Excel knowledge. Prior experience in Customer service /Inventory/ Accounting reconciliation a plus.
Experienceand Training: Eight (8) weeks required to learn details of job. Six (6) months required to perform the job with minimum of supervision. Experience on the job requires learning responsibilities of all phases of the fuel scheduling process the fuel inventory system and critical business processes. It is important to emphasize that site specific training is essential for success in this position and will be provided prior to any performance evaluation criteria being considered.
Resourcefulness: Planning organization and the ability to make discretionary judgements are major skills required in the position comprising fuel inventory accounting and critical business process oversight. Must utilize critical thinking skills in performing fuel inventory projections and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Ability to do routine work: There is considerable variety in the job. It is necessary that computer entries be accurate to avoid costly mistakes in the resulting reports and projections. Fuel inventory reports are the basis of the fuel projections necessary to meet the operational requirements of the airlines which directly affect their fuel purchases and costs.
Systems/ Operations: Must understand operation of computer systems and online resources. Inputs into the computer must be accurate and must be done in a timely manner.
Capacity for getting along withothers:Must work well with all other employees within the company as well as oil company airline into-plane fuelling agent personnel. Contact with these individuals is extremely important to this operation.
Capacity for self-expression:The position requires a self-starter who can work independently and one who displays inventiveness when problem solving with only general supervision.
Supervision: Consults with the Sr. Administrative Manager for all issues related to personnel interactions. Supervision of others comprises quality control of inventory records done by inventory clerks and accountants as delegated by the Facility Manager.
Responsibility for goodwill and public relations:This job represents contact with oil companies airlines and into-plane fuelling agents.
Working Conditions: Work in a small office with minor traffic frequent interruptions and aircraft noise.
Duties of the job:
- Customer Satisfaction; To maintain an uncompromising dedication to providing high quality service to all of our customers. This is achieved by accomplishing all duties in accordance with established airline regulations.
- Performs analysis of accounting and supply data and creates reports to identify trends perform projections as needed.
- Responsible for assisting daily payroll human resources and operational records that are required to be produced by the business unit.
- Facilitate the acquisition of company supplies.
- Responsible for assisting to maintain personnel records and files which include creating maintaining and filing active employee records and archiving terminated employee files as prescribed.
- Coordinate with Operational Manager to ensure that schedules are being up to date. Monitor/control budgeted overtimes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
