Job Summary
Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating new personal lines insurance products based on business and customer needs
- Driving end-to-end product launch/revamps collaborating with internal stakeholders e.g. Channels Marketing IT Actuarial and other product implementation workgroup members
- Working with underwriting manager on underwriting guidelines for new products or processes
- Conducting market research and analysis to provide insights on product developments and trends
- Monitoring and analysing product performance data for new opportunities and improvements
- Working closely with sales channels to ensure business targets are met
- Clarifying policy intent and reviewing materials with stakeholders and frontliners
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mathematics Economics Banking Finance Actuarial Science or Engineering
- 4 to 6 years of working experience in the financial industry with general insurance knowledge
- Insurance certifications such as BCP PGI HI and ComGI
- Possesses a growth mindset thrives on challenges and views setbacks as springboard for growth
- Independent and inquisitive
- Sharp and analytical with an ability to draw insights from logical inferences
- Collaborates well in a team setting and able to work with multiple stakeholders
