Responsibilities
The Medical Staff Performance Improvement Specialist develops and implements initiatives in partnership with the Medical Staff to improve patient safety clinical outcomes and overall care quality. This role supports physician performance evaluation processes analyzes quality and safety data and facilitates improvement efforts aligned with organizational priorities. This position is dedicated to initiatives that directly impact patient outcomes including Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades and CMS 5-Star Quality Ratings ensuring the hospital meets and exceeds national benchmarks for excellence.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management Organizational Development Clinical or related field required
Experience
3 years of experience with project management and quality improvement required
Licenses and Certifications
LSS - Lean Six Sigma preferred
