The Role:

As a leader in Supply Chain you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of individual contributors for one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain Organization: manufacturing/ warehouse operations supply chain systems and processes launch execution and scheduling and material management.

You will act as a liaison between purchasing engineering warehousing/manufacturing logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.

What Youll Do:

  • Responsible for leading the Supply Chain office operations for direct materials including purchased parts production planning and customer orders.

  • Leads crisis management for supplier issues and manages premium transportation.

  • Ensures correct inventories for all components T1 Bailment Catalog.

  • Coordinates Annual Physical Inventory and reconciles gains/losses.

  • Completes mid-year and year-end salary CAP assessments.

  • Supports GMS and BIQ 4 initiatives for SLT principals as a Subject Matter Expert.

  • Leads cost reduction initiates pertaining to inventory management and premium transportation.

  • Audits SAP data for inventory accuracy.

  • Supervises trains and develops salaried employees

  • Follow-up on problem solving initiatives related to stock discrepancies

  • Supports material activities surrounding a plan for every part for MVB and all launch activities

  • Interfaces with Central Office allocation on part issues as required

  • Implements monitors and maintains GMS elements

  • Investigates supplier claims of unpaid bills

  • Investigates duplicate receipts

  • Performs a daily audit of record adjustments including MR/DR reviews

  • Responsible for stock / record balance accuracy

  • Ensure GM inventory and capital investment is protected

  • Develop and implement cost savings projects

Physical Requirements:

  • Quick response to safety instructions alarms and signals are a must

  • Drive vehicles and equipment when needed

  • Comfortably wear personal protective equipment

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

  • Navigate a busy warehouse

  • Bend twist kneel crouch and reach

  • May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs. depending on department

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen U.S. permanent resident asylee or refugee).

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering Supply chain Industrial) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent experience (Mfg. and Supply chain)

  • High level of analytical ability & problem solving where problems are unusual and difficult.

  • Experience with using SAP/MGO/Oracle or similar ERP MS-Office tools (Excel Access Project Word and PowerPoint)
