About the role:

We are currently on the lookout for aBlast & Paint Supervisorto join our Defence team based out in Osborne SA. The key focus of theBlast & Paint Supervisoris to directly lead and develop a team of field-based staff; ensuring works are completed safely efficiently and in accordance with our quality standards delivering on the contractual requirements of our clients.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and manage workers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Submit and maintain all completed site records.
• Ensure sub-contractors/suppliers conform to project requirements.
• Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with plans and procedures.
• Participate in task planning and risk analysis conduct regular audits and maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

To be considered for this role you need:

• Experience supervising teams(Essential)
• NACE 2 certified(Highly desirable)
• Experience managing complex paint & blast /remediation/ waterproofing projects(Highly desirable).
• Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience in asset remediation with blasting & painting and concrete rehabilitation works(Highly desirable)
• Possess technical knowledge in coatings surface preparation management of hazardous substances and application processes
• Familiar with Quality systems - progressing ITPs QA/QC liaison
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
