About the Team & Business Line:

ResponsibilitiesYour Role:
- You will ensure SLAs are met by monitoring and prioritizing tasks/activities
- Strong grasp and adherence to Citco workflows policies and procedures
- Take a more senior role in the team by assisting team members in handling and prioritizing their workload
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and manager regarding any escalations or development areas for junior staff
- Provide timely and accurate approvals (Receipts/Payments/Moxie emails)
Business Technical and Commercial Awareness:
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to effectively answer team members questions
- Further knowledge by becoming a SME within the team for example: Moxie/AXI/ECM/SSC/Treasury
- Monitor new processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Gain full understanding of processes and procedures and sharing them with the team
- Provide constructive feedback on processes and procedures and identify areas of possible improvements
Ability to work on complex cases; a strong understanding of:
- Global policies
- Global escalations points
- Ability to understand legal documents and to formulate a sound resolution
- Develop good working relations with all internal business partners
Quality and Risk Control:
- Manage and understand all systems used on the team
Ability to understand delays and past due items and take action to reduce them to meet desired targets:
- Review and approve work ensuring 100% accuracy (Receipts/Payments/Moxie emails)
- Problem Solving analyze problems and provide possible solutions
- Escalation raise potential issues to the manager/supervisor. Offer support to the teams when necessary. Able to identify and understand the cause of escalated issues and present the issue along with a solution.
Client Service:
- Demonstrate a full understanding of all deliverables and timing
- Daily monitoring of ECM/AXI queues to ensure expectations are met
- Daily monitoring of Moxie queues to ensure 95% 100% SLA is met
- Ensure AXI on hold receipt queue is monitored and cleared on a daily basis
- Ensure Moxie approval queue is monitored and cleared on a daily basis
Teamwork:
- Assist supervisor in the daily monitoring of team workload
- Assist manager and supervisor in the training of new and existing team members and suggest possible areas of development within team structure
- Cross train and become familiar with funds on other teams in order to assist during peak periods and absences
- Regularly contribute to team meetings and huddles; this includes chairing taking minutes and providing agenda topics
Drive for Results and lead by example:
- Be proactive take steps to ensure that tasks are completed in an efficient manner; follow up with teams that have launches or capital calls
- Take initiative identify gaps or areas of improvement in policies processes and procedures and take first step to initiate change. For example identify efficiencies such as tasks/items that can be handled by the SSC team and therefore increasing SSC utilization across the team
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times and adherence to Company Code of Conducts (including being punctual and understanding Company policies)
- Take Ownership ensure that issues/tasks are seen through from start to finish; this includes distribution of deliverables through follow up and engagement of internal and external business partners and effective communication
QualificationsAbout You:
- You have a minimum of 2-4 years of recent or relevant KYC/AML experience with a financial institution law firm or other regulated environment.
- Knowledge of KYC/AML industry tools and vendor products
- Strong analytical and investigative skills and demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ACAMS is considered an asset
Salary Range: CAD 62000 - CAD 72000
