Job Summary
Job Title: LPN / T-LPN (Long-Term Care)
Unit: Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Skowhegan ME
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: Overnight 312-Hour Shifts
Weekly Pay: $1700/week
Position Overview
A long-term care facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / T-LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills experience in long-term care and a compassionate patient-focused approach.
Responsibilities
Administer oral topical subcutaneous and intramuscular medications including insulin
Monitor and document vital signs blood glucose levels and oxygen saturation
Perform wound care dressing changes and pressure injury prevention interventions
Manage feeding tubes urinary catheters ostomies and tracheostomies in accordance with facility policy
Observe assess and promptly report changes in resident condition to the RN or physician
Collect and handle specimens (urine stool blood within scope of practice)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Ensure compliance with facility policies state regulations and patient safety standards
Promote resident dignity comfort and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
Active LPN or T-LPN license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Excellent communication and documentation skills
