Job Summary

Summary:

Primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day operations of the library at the middle school level and ensure students are effective users of ideas and information. A focus on Maker Space development researchskills and technology is preferred.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be eligible for or hold a Virginia teaching license with a Library Media Specialist Pre-K-12endorsement or be eligible for the same.

Salary:

Rangebased on the 2025-2026 Teacher Salary Scale is $53000 - $82243 with additional supplemental pay for 10 additional days and a graduate degree. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2026-2027 school board budget.

Workday:

Full-time/ 10 month/ 210 days
