About the RoleThe Applications and Development Manager leads the planning delivery and support of Hoffmasters core business applications with a primary focus on Infor LX and the IBM i (IBMi) platform. Youll manage a team of developers and partners while ensuring technology solutions align with business strategy deliver reliable performance and provide excellent internal customer Youll DoLead coach and manage a team of developers vendors and consultantsOversee application development support and enhancements for Infor LX and IBMiAlign technology initiatives with business priorities delivering projects on time and within budgetManage system operations including security uptime backup and recoveryOwn custom development interfaces and the overall Infor LX technical environmentEstablish and maintain application development and EDI policies and standardsBuild strong vendor relationships and manage hardware and service contractsDefine and monitor service level expectations across the applications teamPartner with IT and business leaders to deliver scalable value-driven solutionsWhat Were Looking ForBachelors degree in Management Information Systems Computer Science or a related field7 years of experience working with Infor LX and IBMi environmentsWorking knowledge of IBM Power Systems RPG IBMi and DB2Proven experience leading development teams and managing vendorsStrong project management skills with a track record of on-time on-budget deliveryExperience supporting EDI systems in a manufacturing environmentAbility to translate technical concepts into business-friendly languageStrong communication problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting service expectationsOrganizational ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityThis role demonstrates Ownership through accountability for mission-critical systems Teamwork by partnering across IT and business functions and Customer Focus by delivering reliable responsive application support.
