Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for:
- Complyingwith ATC policies/procedures.
- Complyingwith client facility policies/procedures.
- Developing implementing and re-evaluatingthe students plan of care.
- Documentingaccurateand completeservices provided.
- Evaluatingand establishinggoals based on students current level of functioning and potential for improvement.
- Maintainingconfidentiality relative to individualcare and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
- Communicating information effectively to appropriate personnel.
- Treating individualsto relieve pain and/or develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance.
- Providing individuals care in a non-judgmental non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy rights and dignity are preserved.
- Maintainingcompetency by participating in continuing education programs and meetingstate specific requirements.
- Complyingwith accepted ethical and professional standards of conduct.
Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications:
- Active NY State Physical Therapist(PT) Licensure
- One (1) year of Physical Therapy experience; school experience a plus
- Resume submissions and in-person interviews are required.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment work with different age groups.
- A desire to work with children.
- Strong problem-solving compassion and motivationalskillswithgreat physical stamina.
- A Great Team Player
