The products for which these systems are developed will operate in military embedded real time systems as well as end products in weapons and ground environments. Job requires an understanding of GPS systems in general but experience with Military GPS and associated systems is a plus. | Technical/Functional skills: | Regularly demonstrate systems engineering skills as assigned Work with DOORS MS Word and MS Excel Work on requirements docs design descriptions verification plans/procedures customer CDRLs to meet program schedules Provide project management reports as required support senior level and customer reviews as necessary. Interface with the programs leadership and other teams (SW HW and Test) on a frequent basis conduct or participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations and provide progress status updates on work products. Regularly utilize strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Additional Skills: Development/Traceability/Analysis/Integration/Verification/Validation for Navigation and GPS/GPS Receiver technology experience Previous GPS architecture experience Active DoD SECRET security clearance desired |
| Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: | Requires a Bachelor degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline with minimum 6 years or a graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. Minimum 5 years experience as a Systems engineer working with systems Requirements Minimum 5 years experience working in a team environment Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security citizenship required |
