Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Remote - No preference on timezone
Shift/Schedule:8am - 5pm
Position Summary: The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing mechanical components and systems ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
Responsibilities: Design mechanical components and detailed engineering drawings (utilizing Inventor) and specifications. Collaborate with other engineers and project managers. Conduct design reviews and validation compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in CAD software. Strong problemsolving and analytical skills. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must Have
5 year experience with mechanical design engineering
Ability to read and interpret drawings and utilize inventor to determine component dimensions detailed features interfaces masses stiffnesses etc.
Minim
Nice To Have
At least 2 years experience in the nuclear industry
Engineer needs to be efficient and effective in assignments to meet scope quality schedule and cost bases.
Experience with Sodium Fast Reactors
Experience working under an NQA-1 quality program.
Nuclear Industry knowledge / experience.
um Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
