We are seeking a Program Quality Lead (PQL) to join the Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) Mission Assurance team supportingthe Advanced Early Warning Radar Systems (AEWRS) program area.

As the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT) youll ensure the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing the scope of work through all integrated product development phases within the contract.

Youll develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives working closely with integrated teams to enforce process the program quality role you will work directly with the customer internal factories and suppliers in support of contract start-up activities Engineering development product integration and sell-off.

This is an onsite role located in El Segundo CA.

What You Will Do:

  • Represent Quality on the program leadership team
  • Review program contractual requirements relevant to quality then develop and implement Program Quality Plans to flow down for program execution.
  • Oversee root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and chair the Program Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Establish customer relations and process customer corrective action requests.
  • Support technical Quality performance and assess compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements across key suppliers and internal factories.
  • Generate CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence) and CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency.
  • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with AS9145 and internal APQP requirements as applicable.
  • Review the Engineering program documentation including specifications requirements specification control drawings altered item drawings assembly drawings test plans procedures instructions and standard operating procedures prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
  • Support the completion of First Article Inspection and Qualification efforts for both internal factories and suppliers
  • This role requires some domestic and international travel

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5)yearsof prior experience in the areas below;
    • Working experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 QualityManagementSystems
    • Working experience guiding teams in failure analysis root cause analysis corrective and preventative action.
    • Working experience translating external and internal requirements and command media
    • Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Six Sigma American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including the following tools: FMEA SPC Control Plans and Process Capability Assessments.
  • Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW) Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
  • Experience presenting reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers and creating relationships with program management cross-functional program leadership suppliers customers and government representatives.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functionalteams in systematic improvement activities (e.g. Six-Sigma Lean Manufacturing).
  • Experience in First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
  • Experience managing the execution of FAIs (or similar requirements) across several suppliers or factories.
  • Experience translating system and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product assembly and test documentation.
  • CurrentSecret Clearance or higher.

The salary range for this role is 95500 USD - 181700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
