We are looking for a highly motivated R&D Science Internto join our R&D Science team!

Our intern program offers students real-life hands-on experience coaching mentoring and networking opportunities. You will gain experience working in a molecular biology wet lab environment. You will have the opportunity to work with seasoned scientists and gain hands-on industry experience in a company that is developing ground-breaking genomics technology and products which will accelerate our understanding of life biology and disease.

This internship also offers graduates priority consideration for full-time hires in 2027.

Qualifications Skills Knowledge & Abilities

Currently a student in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelors degree in Life Sciences Biotechnology or closely related discipline
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00 or higher
Onsite work schedule Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) for at least 8 weeks during summer 2026
Previous hands-on lab experience (school or industry) is strongly preferred
Self-motivated detail-oriented willing to learn and interested in working in a team environment
Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problem-solving
Good presentation writing and communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills

At Ultima Genomics this internship pays between $22 and $25per hour and your hourly rate will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
